I made a translucent overlay of the grid when creating the texture so I could get the banding on his tail lined up correctly with the ridges.

The texturing process for Stevie was really rater straightforward, but Im trying to add his bumps with bump mapping and it looks good in the viewport (as below), but off when I render.
I also played around with different variations, tried some other colour variations in the bump mapping tos ee if this would make any difference etc. I need to find how to turn down the intensity of the bump value.
